The short version

There is nothing to sign up for on Maplelightnook, and we run no analytics or ad trackers. We do not gather personal information about you.

Local storage, explained

Your shortlist and your answer to the cookie notice are kept in local storage on your own device. We cannot see them, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Third-party requests

The only outside service the site calls is Google Fonts for its typefaces, which receives the usual technical request details from your browser.

Publisher sites

Game sites we link to are run by their publishers and have their own privacy policies, which apply as soon as you arrive there.

Questions and your rights

Emails to editors@maplelightnook.com are read by the editors and used only to answer you. Your rights under PIPEDA, Canada’s federal privacy law are unaffected; ask us anything.
